This is something I wish I had heard more when I was first starting out, so I decided to make a wholesome comic about it. :) This doesn’t apply to just art, either. It works with any goal you’re working towards. It’s hard to see progress when your nose is pressed up right to the road. But if you step back, you can see how far you’ve come, and all the progress and growth that has happened up to this point. I hope you’ll remember to give yourself a break and credit for the good things you’ve done so far, when you find yourself getting frustrated.
