♥ Introducing the Cozytown Chronicle ♥

Ideas are funny things, they love to strike at odd times. Some just visit once and fly off, and others are sticky and patient.

About a year ago I had the idea to start a SubStack, but I didn’t have a clear plan on what I was going to do with it. I didn’t want just another comic roll. I wanted to offer something unique for readers to look forward to. The idea didn’t come to me until a year later, in a classic brainstorm that struck without warning.

Why not make it the Cozytown newspaper? Something that made the reader feel like they were a part of Cozytown? From that rolled so many ideas for sections and part of the newspaper, including ads for the shops and cafes around town! One I’m particularly excited to develop is Granny Bear’s advice column. I even made a comic about her being nervous after accepting the job. That was the first post to the Cozytown Chronicle. Right now I’ve got the new comics going up and have several compilations in draft form. I have a Halloween coloring page up for download as well. I will be also be adding special Behind the Scenes content (a section called Over the Idea Wall) where I show how I make everything from new products, to plushies, to animated gifs!
