I read an anecdote about Corita Kent being inspired by the seasonal changes she observed in a maple tree out her window, and I had to make a comic out of it. For those curious, it was in Keep Going by Austin Kleon, which just recently came out. I wholeheartedly recommend all of his books. :)

I realized when I got the idea for this comic that I had no idea what to do if I found an injured or stunned bird.
